From our research we know that practitioners are often concerned about how to respond to third party material or court requests, how to contract with clients pre-trial, and how to lead consent-based processes that promote both client wellbeing and engagement with the criminal justice process. We also work with services that are building or developing their pre-trial provision, with police forces and CPS areas where multi-agency communication needs strengthening, and with commissioners and policymakers in England and Wales and internationally. Our national best practice standards and resources have been developed in collaboration with survivors, therapists, social workers, the police, advocacy services and the CPS, and we bring that expertise to every consultation we undertake.
